The goal of the BCIT OAT website redesign project was to develop a responsive website that allows students to conveniently access information, navigate the site, view class schedules, and gather details about their classes. The original BCIT OAT website presented challenges for students in terms of usability and information accessibility. Students faced difficulties in locating course calendars, accessing class information, and navigating the website efficiently. Our main objective was to improve the website by creating a responsive and consistent design layout with clear, concise content. This redesign aimed to enable students to easily find essential class details and enjoy a seamless browsing experience.

The Solution

Streamlined Navigation: The website's navigation was simplified and organized into clear categories, making it easier for students to find the desired information about their classes and related resources.

Interactive Calendar: A user-friendly calendar feature was incorporated into the website, allowing students to view class schedules, including the start times of their classes. This feature helped students plan their daily routines effectively.
